Police academy students are participating in the Escape Truck initiative, an interactive exercise aimed at preventing human trafficking. This mobile escape room simulates real-life scenarios of sexual and labor exploitation, helping future officers recognize victim vulnerabilities and trafficker methods. The program, developed in the Netherlands, has been introduced in Romania, with activities in Cluj-Napoca and other cities. Students engage in practical exercises to identify signs of trafficking and understand the psychological and physical consequences of exploitation. The initiative aims to raise awareness and prevent victimization among young people and future police officers.
