A new floating barrier has been installed on the Dâmbovița River in the Regie area, made from reused 5-liter plastic bottles donated by residents. This prototype, called "șerpișorul," aims to prevent floating waste from moving downstream. The initiative highlights the importance of reducing waste production alongside cleaning efforts. Upcoming events on October 3 and 4 will focus on community engagement and environmental awareness. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in river clean-up activities, with the goal of improving the river's condition throughout the capital.
