The Skywalk at Piatra Șoimului, inaugurated in July 2025, offers visitors a unique experience at over 1,500 meters altitude. The glass platform, designed to create a sense of floating, has attracted 27,834 visitors in its first five months, with no entrance fee planned. The design emphasizes a gradual reveal of the landscape, enhancing the thrill of exposure. Architect Sebastian Săvescu noted that visitor reactions confirm the intended experience, with many discovering the site through social media. Despite a decline in overall tourism in Suceava, the Skywalk is seen as a potential boost for local tourism, aiming to encourage visitors to explore the broader Rarău area. However, challenges remain, including short tourist stays and infrastructure issues.
