The Bucharest City Hall provided updates on the ongoing modernization of Prelungirea Ghencea, which is divided into five sections, with one completed. Currently, 140 workers and 30 engineers are on-site daily. The second section is progressing well, with asphalt being laid. The third section has seen traffic rerouted, and work on the right side has commenced. The fourth section is in early stages, focusing on utility upgrades. The fifth section is developing a park & ride facility, with excavation underway. The project also includes the relocation and modernization of underground networks, with significant progress in telecommunications and heating networks.
