Ciprian Ciucu, the mayor of Bucharest, showcased the renovated Bulevardul Națiunile Unite, marking it as his first significant urban regeneration project. The boulevard now features more green spaces and fewer cars on the sidewalks. The renovation included planting 94 trees, 1,500 shrubs, and 17,000 perennial plants, along with permeable paving to enhance water infiltration.
