A significant Renaissance mural, the largest of its kind in Transylvania, is showcased at the Urban Civilization Museum in Brașov. This historic building, dating back to the 14th century, reflects the architectural style of Transylvanian commercial spaces from the 16th to 19th centuries. Restoration efforts revealed stone window and door frames, some bearing marks from a major fire in 1689. The house belonged to the Closius family, prominent members of the local patriciate. The mural features floral decorations typical of the Saxon patricians and includes a central pomegranate motif, extending into a former passageway, noted for its vibrant colors.
