Five individuals from the same family were arrested in Covasna for forming an organized crime group involved in forced labor and human trafficking. The group exploited vulnerable victims, often from disadvantaged backgrounds, by deceiving and coercing them into labor without pay. The female leader coordinated the group's activities, including the recruitment and supervision of victims. They were deprived of their identification documents and subjected to physical abuse to prevent them from seeking help. Authorities executed search warrants, seizing evidence and luxury vehicles. The suspects are proposed for preventive detention for 30 days.
