A Polish engineering firm plans to construct a 207-meter statue of Jesus Christ in the Philippines, potentially the tallest in the world. The project, located in Ilocos Sur, was discussed during a recent visit by the Polish president. The company, Slipform, aims to use innovative construction technology to expedite the process, estimating the core structure could be completed in about 40 days. The proposal is currently awaiting evaluation and approval, with plans for the statue to require up to 27,000 cubic meters of concrete. This statue would surpass existing representations of Jesus, including those in Brazil and Poland.
