The Bucharest City Hall has provided updates on the ongoing thermal infrastructure projects, aiming to resolve heating and hot water issues for numerous buildings this winter. Significant progress has been made, with 28 kilometers of main pipes completed and another 37 kilometers nearing completion. The projects, funded by non-reimbursable European funds, involve modernizing 212 kilometers of heating pipes at a total cost of 1.76 billion lei. The City Hall has showcased two specific sites, highlighting the complexity of the work and the nearing completion of 11 kilometers of additional pipes. Despite these advancements, some areas still face challenges with hot water supply.
