The project aims to electrify 30.313 km of railway, enhancing the infrastructure for international freight and passenger transport. The contract, valued at 117.03 million lei, is funded by the EU and national budget, and is expected to take 26 months to complete. This initiative is crucial for improving rail connections with Ukraine.
