The construction progress of the Chiribiș-Biharia section of the Transylvania Highway has reached 71%, with over 550 workers and 404 machines on site. The project, which spans 28.5 kilometers, is expected to be completed ahead of the contractual deadline of May 20, 2027, potentially by the end of 2026. Significant work has been done, including asphalt layers and the installation of parapets. The section will connect to existing highways, enhancing traffic flow towards Hungary. Modern traffic monitoring systems will also be implemented.
