Asphalt laying has commenced on the mega-viaduct section of the A3 Transylvania Highway, marking a significant phase in the project. The Turkish construction association Özaltın, along with its partners, is leading this effort. The project includes the completion of the longest viaduct in Romania, Topa Mică, and ongoing work on another viaduct at Nădășelu. Currently, 356 workers and 239 machines are active on-site, with physical progress reported at 76.30%. The contract for this project is valued at 997 million lei, funded by the Transport Program.
