The mayor of Aiud, Dragoș Crișan, announced a campaign to remove abandoned telecommunications cables from the city, improving aesthetics and safety. Operators have been summoned to identify and eliminate unused cables. Initial results show progress, with one company already removing several kilometers of obsolete cables. The cleanup will continue until all unused networks are removed.
