Police conducted a four-hour operation on the A1 highway, checking over 100 vehicles and issuing fines totaling nearly 40,000 lei. One driver was charged for driving without a license, while six others had their licenses revoked for traffic violations. The blitz aimed to enforce speed regulations and enhance road safety. In total, 67 fines were issued, with the majority for speeding. The police plan to continue these operations to prevent accidents caused by excessive speed.
