On September 1, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Șos. Cotroceni and Bd. Gheorghe Marinescu, involving a car and a motorcycle. A 59-year-old man driving the car collided with a 17-year-old female motorcyclist. The car driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs. The motorcyclist was injured and taken to the hospital, along with a 20-year-old female passenger from the car. Traffic was restricted in the area while police investigate the accident's causes. Additionally, new traffic restrictions were announced in Bucharest due to gas network repairs, effective from September 1 to September 6.
