CFR Infrastructură Iași has commenced work on the rehabilitation and electrification of the Dărmănești – Vicșani – Frontieră railway line. Current activities include foundation drilling and installation of electrification poles at Milișăuți halt. This strategic project aims to enhance connectivity with the cross-border network, covering 30.313 km of railway. The contract spans 26 months, with construction authorized in April 2026. The project is led by RailEC – Alstom Transport S.A. and A&S Turism Construct S.R.L.
