Bucharest's City Hall has resumed tramway line asphalt work on Prelungirea Ghencea, a project that began in 2018 but was previously abandoned. The new phase includes the concrete laying for a 140-meter section of the tramway. Ongoing works also involve road widening and green space arrangements. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu highlighted that nearly 50 construction sites are active in the city, with 12 focused on tramway lines. He emphasized the importance of these projects for the city's infrastructure, despite public frustration over the disruptions.
