The Sector 2 City Hall has initiated the "Piațete Libere" project to rehabilitate 10 central squares through ongoing public consultations. The first works are expected to start next spring. This project, developed in collaboration with the World Bank, emphasizes continuous consultation during all phases, from concept to execution. Approximately 500 people participated in public consultations, providing valuable feedback. The aim is to enhance the identity of the area while preserving its historical character. Future steps include contracting documentation and starting works on specific squares next year, transforming traffic-dominated spaces into greener, safer community centers.
