Fostul team-manager al secției de handbal feminin de la CS Rapid București, trimis în judecată pentru delapidare și uz de fals

Bogdan Vasiliu, former team manager of CS Rapid Bucharest's women's handball section, has been indicted for embezzlement and forgery. He allegedly misappropriated over 106,000 lei intended for player bonuses between May and November 2021. Additionally, he faces charges of bribery and abuse of power from his time as general director of the club, where he reportedly solicited 200,000 euros for rental contracts. Prosecutors claim he received significant sums through personal and company accounts, while also facilitating fictitious expense claims to cover up the misappropriation.
