Former PSD deputy and senator Timotei Stuparu passed away at 75 after being hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing. The news was announced in the Senate by Robert Cazanciuc, who noted that Stuparu was killed by a driver who failed to follow traffic rules. A moment of silence was observed in his memory. Stuparu had a long political career, starting in 1990 as a deputy and later serving as president of the Teleorman County Council and senator. His death was confirmed by the PSD Teleorman organization, which highlighted his significant contributions to public service. The funeral is scheduled for October 16 at the Sfânta Treime Church in Corbeanca, Ilfov.
