Fostul șef TAROM spune că declarațiile senatorului Cristian Ghinea au avut „efecte imediate”: „Am simțit scăderea bruscă a încasărilor”

Former TAROM CEO Bogdan Costaș stated that USR senator Cristian Ghinea's comments had immediate negative effects on the airline's cash flow, particularly during a peak ticket purchasing period. Costaș noted a significant drop in ticket sales and charter contracts being put on hold due to Ghinea's statements about potential bankruptcy. He highlighted that both individuals and companies refrained from buying tickets, raising concerns among lessors about the airline's future. Ghinea's remarks suggested TAROM could face bankruptcy within six months, prompting the airline to reject these claims and consider legal action against the senator. TAROM is currently undergoing a restructuring program worth over 95 million euros, which must conclude by year-end to avoid losing state aid for a decade.
