Fostul șef al serviciilor secrete germane, arestat pentru spionaj

Former BND chief August Hanning has been arrested on suspicion of espionage, including charges of treason and leaking state secrets. A high-ranking former employee is also detained for allegedly providing classified documents to Hanning for over a decade. Police conducted searches at their residences and in Berlin. Hanning led the BND from 1998 to 2005, and his alleged accomplice was his former chief of staff.
