Fostul şef al NATO Jens Stoltenberg nu va mai prelua preşedinţia Conferinţei de Securitate de la Munchen

Former NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg has opted not to lead the Munich Security Conference to focus on his role as Norway's finance minister. He was appointed to head the conference in 2024 but postponed this after joining the government in early 2025. Stoltenberg emphasized that being finance minister is more important to him than leading the conference, expressing his commitment to Norwegian politics. His statements come amid a board meeting for the Munich Security Conference in Berlin. Stoltenberg, who served as NATO's secretary general from 2014 to 2024, stated he will remain in his ministerial role as long as Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre wishes.
