Fostul șef al Gărzii Forestiere București a fost reținut
Mirel Idorași, former chief inspector of the Forest Guard, was detained for 24 hours for allegedly stealing and destroying institutional documents. Investigators claim these actions aimed to delay the resolution of requests from companies. He was arrested on August 10 and is set to be presented for preventive arrest. The investigation began after a complaint was filed in May 2026, leading to multiple searches at his home and workplace, where several documents were seized. Idorași is suspected of committing five acts of document theft or destruction while in office. Authorities emphasize the presumption of innocence during ongoing investigations.
