Fostul șef al BND arestat pentru trădare are un asociat în România: un fost secretar de stat în MApN, apropiat al lui Liviu Dragnea

August Hanning, former head of Germany's BND, partnered with ex-MoD official Andrei Ignat in a consultancy firm. Hanning was arrested for high treason, allegedly selling secrets to Azerbaijan. Their company, IDA International Defence Advisory, was formed amid discussions on defense projects in Romania. Ignat, previously in charge of armaments, faced scrutiny for his role in a controversial corvette contract. He claims his association with Hanning was based on mutual respect and intended for defense consultancy, but he left the firm after a month due to a lack of common ground. Ignat did not confirm any links to Rheinmetall's interests in Romania.
