Fostul șef al Autorității Rutiere prins cu mita în cutiile de pantofi, trimis în judecată / Procurorii au găsit peste 500.000 de euro în locuința lui
Cristian Anton, former head of the Romanian Road Authority, has been indicted for accepting bribes to facilitate fraudulent exam passes. Prosecutors allege he received over 115,000 euros in bribes and was involved in an organized crime group. Investigations revealed he had over 500,000 euros in cash at home, some hidden in shoeboxes. The DNA is seeking the confiscation of these funds, which are believed to be linked to his corrupt activities. Anton, who has a long-standing political connection with the PSD, has been in custody since April and will face trial in Bucharest.
