Fostul președinte sârb Aleksandar Vucic se pregătește să devină premier după alegerile parlamentare din 25 octombrie
Former Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is campaigning to regain power as Prime Minister in the upcoming parliamentary elections on October 25, 2026. He addressed thousands of supporters in Belgrade, promising a "resounding victory" after dissolving parliament and resigning from the presidency on September 27. Ana Brnabic is currently serving as interim president for three months. Vucic, who has led the Progressive Party since 2014, aims to continue his political career as Prime Minister, as he is ineligible for a third presidential term. His party needs to secure a parliamentary majority for this to happen.
