Ivan criticized the management of water capture issues, suggesting that authorities should have acted sooner to maintain adequate water levels. The government has approved emergency measures to ensure water supply for cooling systems at Cernavodă, as Romania faces an energy alert since August 1 due to low river levels affecting energy production.
