The mayor, Doru Miron, stated that the municipality aims to acquire additional land from the quarry site to improve the trail and install amenities like benches and viewing points. A climbing route on the remaining marble blocks is also being considered, along with a potential speleological attraction in a nearby cave. The area's historical significance and scenic views have increased interest, with thousands of tourists visiting annually. A tourist train has been introduced to facilitate access to the site, which is noted for its unique geological features and historical marble extraction.
