Investigators found she owned two apartments in a luxury complex, registered under a friend's name, and used another apartment registered to her mother. Prosecutors claim her official income does not justify her asset purchases. Stefanișîna has been accused of negotiating a house purchase near Kyiv, which was not completed. The court reduced her bail to approximately $134,000, which she claims she cannot afford. She was dismissed from her ambassadorial role in August 2026.
