A former head of the Politehnica gallery was sentenced for assaulting a man suspected of theft. In May 2022, Marius Șrainer and Bogdan Sofrone, working as security agents, intervened against Aliodor Damian, who was causing disturbances. After a confrontation, they physically attacked him, resulting in serious injuries, including a fractured ankle. The incident occurred outside the surveillance cameras' view, and witnesses reported hearing screams and sounds of violence. Damian required extensive recovery time due to his injuries.
