Fost primar al Iaşiului, adus în ţară pentru a-şi executa pedeapsa pentru viol şi agresiune sexuală

Ionel Onofraş, former mayor of Iaşi, was extradited from Italy to serve a 19-year sentence for sexual offenses. He was on the Most Wanted list due to his failure to serve his sentence. His arrest followed international cooperation between Romanian and Italian authorities. Onofraş had previously abused four minors under the pretense of modeling.
