A 66-year-old former military officer was placed in preventive detention after crashing into a parked car while under the influence of alcohol. He recorded a blood alcohol level of 1.14 mg/l. The incident occurred in Vaslui, where he admitted to consuming three glasses of wine. This was not his first offense, as he had a previous similar incident in 2020. Following the crash, he was arrested and later presented to the court, where preventive detention was ordered for 30 days. His lawyer is seeking evidence for an appeal against the detention.
