Fost ministru despăgubit pentru afectarea reputației
Cristian Adomniței, former Minister of Education, may receive 100,000 lei from the Romanian state for damages after being acquitted in a criminal case. Initially, he sought 2.1 million lei for harm to his reputation and dignity. The Bucharest Tribunal partially accepted his claim, with the decision not yet final. Adomniței argued that the lengthy judicial process, lasting nearly nine years, affected his personal and professional life, leading to health issues and family difficulties. He also requested additional compensation for lost income during his term as president of the Iași County Council. However, his claim against the DNA was dismissed as unfounded.
