Graeme Dott, a former world snooker champion, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for sexual offenses against two children. He was convicted of illegal sexual behavior towards a girl and a boy, with offenses occurring between 1993 and 2010. Despite a social services report indicating a low risk of reoffending, Dott maintains his innocence, which the court noted affected the consideration of remorse. Dott is known for winning the World Snooker Championship in 2006 and has previous minor convictions related to road offenses.
