Forțele Aeriene Ucrainene anunță că Rusia produce în masă noua rachetă de croazieră „Banderole”
Ukrainian Air Forces report that Russia has begun mass production of the new S8000 Banderole cruise missile, increasingly used in attacks on Ukrainian cities. The missile, which is cheaper and less sophisticated than heavier Russian missiles, is produced at a rate of at least ten per day. It has a smaller warhead and lower speed, but its flight characteristics can mislead Ukrainian monitoring systems. Recent attacks have targeted cities like Krivoi Rog and Nikolaev, with Odesa being a frequent target. The Banderole missile's production cost is estimated between $150,000 and $300,000, making it a more economical option for Russia.
