Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Poland has intensified efforts for a stronger U.S. military presence, currently hosting around 10,000 American troops. The estimated cost for the necessary infrastructure is between 15 and 17 billion zlotys. Negotiations continue regarding the base's location and financial aspects.
