Formula 1 will return to Turkey in 2027 after a six-year absence, with the Turkish Grand Prix scheduled for October 3 at TOSFED İstanbul Park. The event is part of a five-year agreement, allowing races until 2031. Istanbul Park, known for its technical layout and elevation changes, has hosted F1 races since 2005, last in 2020 and 2021. The return was announced in April 2026, with Turkish authorities promoting the event as a boost for tourism and the local economy. A promotional campaign has already begun, achieving over 300 million views for its promotional film.
