Ford îmbunătăţeşte previziunile privind profitul anual, după majorarea vânzărilor de SUV-uri - Economica.net
Ford has raised its annual profit forecast due to strong SUV sales, despite lower revenues and supply chain disruptions affecting its truck production. The company expects EBIT of $10-11 billion this year, up from a previous estimate of $8.5-10.5 billion. Although revenues fell by 4% in Q2 2026, profit increased by nearly 20% to $2.5 billion, driven by solid demand for SUVs. However, net losses of $1.3 billion were reported due to costs from dissolving a joint venture. Ford's EV sales in the U.S. dropped significantly, but plans to launch a $30,000 electric truck in 2027. The company is also partnering with Renault and Geely to boost EV production.
