The funding for electric vehicles under the Rabla Auto 2026 program was exhausted in just 10 days, with over 6,700 applications submitted. The Ministry of Environment announced that the allocated budget of 120 million lei was fully utilized by July 30. Applications for thermal and hybrid vehicles are still open, with a total of 18,628 applications received across all program components. There may be additional funds for electric vehicles later this year, depending on cancellations and budget adjustments.
