The Ministry of Investments and European Projects has extended the deadline for Romanian innovative companies to submit advanced technology projects for funding under the PoCIDIF program until October 30, 2026. The initial deadline was September 30, 2026. Changes to the funding guidelines include stricter eligibility criteria for startups, limiting applications to one project per applicant, and specific requirements for project teams. The evaluation criteria have also been updated, focusing on innovation, quality, and team capacity. The funding intensity for startups has been adjusted, and new salary caps for project teams have been introduced.
