Fonduri europene pentru fermieri. Câți bani sunt puși la bătaie
The Agency for Rural Investment Financing (AFIR) has allocated nearly 170 million euros for farmers through intervention DR-12, aimed at strengthening agricultural operations. However, interest in European funding remains low, particularly in the livestock sector, which has seen only 31 projects worth about 5.98 million euros submitted. The budget for this sector is approximately 84.8 million euros, with over 121 million euros still available for submission. Other agricultural sectors also show unutilized funds, with around 267 projects submitted in crop production, leaving about 77 million euros available. The application period runs from October 6 to December 2, 2026, with two stages of varying quality thresholds. The funding can reach up to 200,000 euros for eligible young farmers, with support intensity varying by beneficiary category.
