A Timișoara-based company, Edgefront Technologies, is launching a €2 million AI project for oncology imaging, funded by the EU. The Rayscape TAP-CT software will enhance CT scan analysis using AI algorithms. This initiative aims to improve diagnostic support for oncologists by integrating data from various anatomical regions. The project, which runs from July 2026 to July 2029, is part of the Health Program 2021-2027 and seeks to provide more comprehensive information for better patient care. Rayscape's existing AI solutions are already in use across over 20 countries.
