Romanian investment fund GapMinder, alongside Croatian Fil Rouge Capital, invests €1.2 million in Croatian startup Genesis Space Flight Laboratories, which develops reusable space capsules. This funding aims to enhance technology for commercial space missions and make microgravity research more accessible. Founded in 2025, Genesis focuses on autonomous platforms for microgravity research, offering a flexible alternative to traditional space station infrastructure. The investment will support the development of the advanced GEN-5 capsule, expanding research capabilities and reducing costs significantly. Future missions are scheduled for October and December, inviting researchers and companies to send experiments into space.
