The ruling includes a 35% stake in Smilegate and a cash payment of 65 billion won. The court found that both parties shared equal responsibility for the marriage's breakdown, which ended in 2022. Kwon, who founded Smilegate shortly after their marriage, has consistently denied any wrongdoing and opposed the divorce. If upheld, this settlement would surpass the previous record set in another high-profile divorce case in South Korea.
