The CDC has linked four additional states to a multistate outbreak of cyclosporiasis, attributed to shredded iceberg lettuce from Mexico. Investigators are still determining the connection between these new cases and the outbreak. Michigan has reported the highest number of cases, with over 7,600 infections. Taylor Farms has recalled the implicated lettuce and temporarily closed its processing facility in Mexico, although tests from Mexican health authorities showed no Cyclospora presence.
