Focare de hepatită A apărute în judeţul Brașov după începerea anului şcolar

In Brașov County, multiple outbreaks of hepatitis A are currently ongoing, primarily affecting children aged 1 to 9. The outbreaks are concentrated in disadvantaged areas of Săcele and surrounding communes. Since the start of the school year, 85 cases have been reported, with 6 in Brașov city. Hepatitis A is an infectious disease transmitted through contaminated food, water, or direct contact. To curb new cases, the Public Health Directorate has provided disinfectants and educational materials, and distributed vaccines to family doctors for immunizing contacts of confirmed cases.
