Focar de ploşniţe la Spitalul Colentina / Șase pacienți au fost mutați / ”Nu ştim cine ar fi putut aduce insectele”

A bed bug outbreak was found in the Neurology Department of Colentina Hospital in Bucharest, following a similar incident at Bagdasar Arseni Hospital. Six patients were relocated, and immediate measures for disinfection were implemented. The hospital manager stated that the bugs might have been brought in by patients, relatives, or staff. The outbreak has reduced the department's capacity by about 24 beds, but acute therapy activities remain unaffected. The area is still isolated as efforts continue to eradicate the infestation completely. Two months prior, Bagdasar Arseni Hospital had to close its neurology recovery section due to a similar issue, affecting over 30 patients.
