Focar de hepatită A la o școală din Iași: Patru elevi confirmați

Four students from Zmeu School in Lungani, Iași County, have been diagnosed with hepatitis A, raising concerns about the disease's spread and hygiene measures. The disease is transmitted through contact with infected individuals or contaminated food and water. Children aged 1 to 14 and males are particularly vulnerable, with severe cases increasing in those over 40. The incubation period ranges from 14 to 42 days, and symptoms include loss of appetite and abdominal pain. Preventive measures include proper handwashing, drinking bottled water, and vaccination. The outbreak highlights the need for health education in schools and increased funding for the healthcare system in Romania.
