FMI trage semnalul de alarmă după expansiunea AI, proliferarea războaielor și creșterea datoriei. Ce țări încasează cel mai mare șoc
The annual meetings of the IMF and World Bank in Thailand highlighted a mix of optimism and concern regarding the global economy. IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva noted that while there is optimism due to economic resilience and AI advancements, there are significant worries about inflation, high debt levels, and climate risks. The IMF warned that rising public debt and increasing bond yields are tightening financial conditions, with central banks focusing on inflation control through interest rate hikes. Vulnerable low-income countries, particularly those reliant on oil imports, are most affected by inflation. Georgieva emphasized the need for these nations to prioritize budgets that support growth and protect citizens amid crises, while also cautioning against over-reliance on AI as a growth driver.
